Living in this city, it’s easy to take for granted all of the amazing sights to see and things to do. From Central Park, to the MET, to the magic of Lincoln Center, there are so many iconic, beautiful landmarks in NYC that you just simply overlook in the daily hustle and bustle.
That’s why I was so thrilled to visit the New York Public Library, one of the world’s most stunning public places and yes, the backdrop for the famous Bradshaw and Big wedding scene in Sex and the City: The Movie.
It’s hard to believe that I worked just a few blocks away from Bryant Park & the NYPL and never once stopped to really take in the beauty of this place!
For such a famous New York landmark, the NYC uniform of all black (glammed up, of course) seemed like the perfect fit. I paired this (amazing!) cape jacket with a satin slip dress and my favorite pair of strappy stilettos.
I’m making it my goal this season to start taking in all of the amazing things this city has to offer and cherishing every moment I get to spend in this gorgeous place. (Yes, that includes those super frustrating mornings on the packed subway, too.) Wherever you live – take it in, live it up, and do some exploring!
But first- You’ll need a new wardrobe for your on the town adventures, right?
Today I’ve teamed up with some fabulous bloggers to giveaway $500 to Nordstrom! One lucky reader will receive a gift card to spruce up their fall wardrobe. How great is that prize?
Simply enter below by completing the rafflecopter. You’ll receive one entry per completion. This giveaway is open internationally and runs until 10/11. Winner will be announced here. Good Luck!
